The 4stones project is a sharing experience.
I invite people I meet to arrange four pebbles any way they like. Then I quickly shoot a picture to record the stones’ position. Later, I select a new environment where I reproduce the composition and make my final photograph.
This project began the day after September 11, as I collected pebbles on a beach in the South of Spain without even knowing why. Afterward, I realized that the 4stones allowed me to connect with people from all over the world, as, together, we sought a space of harmony and peace.
This blog tells the story of the 4stones project. Launched in June 2015 for the opening of the exhibition “Thirteen New Steps”, it goes back and forth between past and present. If you would like to have a chronological view, start with the oldest post.
